PRESS RELEASE: Russell Ductile Castings signs exclusive contract.

Russell Ductile Castings has been awarded an exclusive agreement by Newcastle-upon-Tyne based British Engines Limited (BEL) for the supply of iron Chasers. RDC will be supplying a range of permanent and J chain Chasers up to 3 tonnes in weight. The iron Chasers are designed to recover anchors held by chains or wire rope from the sea bed and often used in offshore oil & gas production areas to recover floating platform anchors and chains that become detached from the vessel.
BEL were seeking a long term partner with the intellectual know-how and manufacturing facility to produce this market leading product range. After conducting a detailed business review of RDC capacity and capability BEL awarded Russell Ductile Castings the exclusive contract. BEL owns Rotary Power, a designer and manufacturer of hydraulic motors and pumps, and BEL Valves who specialise in the design and manufacture of high integrity valves for the oil and gas industry.
